This dataset contains Criminal Justice Administrative Records System data from the University of Michigan, owned by Reveal Global Consulting. The data contains information prisoner movement/transfers and prison rosters. The movement data shows the facility moved to/from, date of the move, and movement reason (if available). The files include data on coverage quality of CJARS by criminal justice domain, state, and year.
