Detailed Methodology

Sample

NAEP Grade 12 sample was a national two-stage probability-based sample, with first stage involving national sample of schools and second stage involving sampling of 12th graders within school. HSTS sample consisted of schools and students selected for Grade 12 mathematics and science assessments.
