Census of Agriculture - Northern Mariana Islands

Description

The Census of Agriculture for Outlying Areas conducted in the Northern Mariana Islands is designed to obtain data on a totally exhaustive list of agricultural commodities. The census also collects expense, income, and agricultural practices data, operator characteristics such as race, gender, age, tenure on the farm, and operating arrangements.

Sample

The statistics collected in the census relate to places with agricultural operations qualifying as farms according to the census definition. In the CNMI, this included all places from which $1,000 or more of agricultural products were produced and sold, or normally would have been sold, during the 12-month period between January 1 and December 31.
