There are 12 data files used to generate findings presented in the Response-to-Intervention evaluation report. These 12 files include a school level file that contains school characteristics and school survey responses; two group level files that contains responses from the teacher survey and the interventionist survey, respectively; eight student level files (2 for each of the four student outcomes) used for the impact analyses; and a school-by-grade level file with school-by-grade characteristics used in the exploratory analyses.
Detailed Methodology
The reference sample includes 1,300 elementary schools randomly sampled in each of the 13 study states, they serve as a reference sample to describe the prevalence of school practices related to RtI. The impact sample consists of 146 elementary purposively selected for inclusion in the impact study which reported at least three years’ experience with RtI implementation at the start of the study.
